Bella Mercado is a homestead and farmstay nestled just outside the heart of our city. Our journey began in 2018 when we moved here and soon after brought Bella, our sweet cow who tragically passed away. In her memory, we named our farmstay after her. We want to share our little piece of the world with you and invite you to experience the beauty of farm life. Our farmstay offers a peaceful retreat where you can relax and reconnect with nature. We also offer fresh eggs, and in the future, we plan to expand our product offerings. We are excited to welcome you to Bella Mercado and create unforgettable memories together.

This was easily our favorite Airbnb we have stayed at. We thought being in a loft above the sheep barn we would hear the sheep but we maybe heard them once the whole time. The dogs were so friendly and playful. All of the animals were peaceful and so fun to watch.
The loft itself had everything you would need. There were even some farm fresh eggs in the fridge that were delish. The internet was out because the sheep chewed the cable which was communicated ahead of time so we brought our own tablet to watch movies. The little porch was nice to chill on while we enjoyed some wine and watching the animals.
It’s just on the outskirts of Fort Wayne so it wasn’t too loud and you’re close enough that it’s not but a few minutes to some restaurants.
Overall if you’re looking for a place to just go enjoy some peaceful time to reset this is it. It was lovely.

Lana’s place is beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved the sheep and dogs. It felt like home. And the pond dock is lighted and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage. If you love all these things, I definitely recommend staying at Lana’s place.

Beautiful location for a peaceful getaway. Relaxing on the deck each evening, surrounded by nature, was the perfect way to end each day after exploring the area. Host was easy to work with and responsive, while also giving us all the privacy/space we needed. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip.

Charming!!! Bella Mercado is a glimpse of farmstead life, tucked amongst acres of forest, still close and accessible 10 minutes to Fort Wayne downtown. We enjoyed the barn loft format and amenities. The grounds are lovely, including a pond with patio, gardens, and outdoor dining area. It was fun waking up to the sound of sheep and being greeted by chickens each time we came and went .
We visit family in Fort Wayne routinely and will be booking this again!
